Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for booking with Tudor House. We look forward to welcoming you to our family home. When you make this booking you are entering into an agreement with us so please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Deposits and Balance of Booking

All bookings need to be secured with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking, and full payment is due one month before any stay.

Arrival / Departure

Check in is available from 4.30pm. We ask that you vacate your room no later than 10.30am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged with us.

Cancellation and Insurance

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to one month before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance.  For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling, you will be liable for the total amount and no refunds will be given.  For this reason, you may wish to consider taking out a suitable cancellation insurance.


In the unlikely event that it has become necessary for us to cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation locally. However, if this was not possible or unacceptable to you, we would then offer you a full refund. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Damages and breakages

We love receiving and looking after our guests but please respect and take care of our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or contents during your stay. Please report any accidents as soon as they occur especially if an accidental spill. We do not normally charge for small breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant. We would politely ask that you do not eat  food in the bedrooms.

Missing Items

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. There would be a minimum charge of £5.00 p&p.


Sadly we do not accept pets, but we do have our own, very friendly, family dog called Alfie. Babes in arms are most welcome, as are well behaved children. A travel cot can be made available, if required.

Smoking and Vaping 

We operate a no smoking and no vaping policy.
